I recently added an AI Prime 16HD to my RS Max Nano. I've settled on a program and I am quite conscious that I don't want to shock my corals with the addition of a new light intensity etc.

Is it generally reccomended to put the light in acclimation mode for a week or two and increase daily just to get everything used to the lighting? Is a week too long/too short?

What did you have on there before? I would definitely do the acclimation, give it at least 2 weeks. Maybe starting at 50-70% of what you want. The AI lights are strong. I use a blade at max 40%
