New Helfrichi Firefish (Macro Shots)

Well, I finally pulled the trigger on a Helfrichi Firefish (Nemateleotris helfrichi) today thanks to the LFS's 25% Anniversary Sale. Somehow they still had one left, they usually sell out within a day or 2 once they hit the floor and I was able to get this guy at a little under $100 which is the lowest I've ever seen one.

Absolutely! I've only seen them in person a few times so I thought some of the pics online exaggerated their vividness, but nope, they're this vivid in person. These pics were straight from the camera, no editing. It's crazy how colorful they are
