My name is Chris and I live in Knoxville. Rob D referred me to this forum and I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself and say hello.
I just started this hobby in February. I bought an established quarantine tank from a friend who was running a canister filter. I ditched the canister in favor of a sump and skimmer. Replaced the substrate and put in 50 lbs of Marcorock Key Largo dryrock. I don't know exactly how many gallons this tank is, nor do I know the technical name for the shape. But I just call it my 50 gallon bow front.
I don't have much in there yet, I am taking things very slowly. But I really like what I do have so far:
4 ricordea mushrooms
1 pulsing xenia
1 peppermint shrimp
1 banded coral shrimp
2 or 3 hermit crabs
A variety of snails
And my most valued babies......a pair of snow onyx clownfish
Here are a few pictures. I welcome any comments. Enjoy.
