Great article, I believe we need to be more responsible at all stages of the marine life collection process. Accountability, and record keeping would also help disprove such notions (which I firmly believe to be untrue) like this documentary.

Very written article, thank you! Rene Umberger, this film is apparently her project, just attacked (on Facebook) a new online saltwater aquarium retailer that I do the marketing for. I started researching her and found out about the film and found your article as well. She is definitely in full militant mode! I, personally, have been in the hobby for 20 years and have also been very involved in the marine conservation world. Hopefully their film won't get much traction - she is working on hostility, but short on facts and solutions.
