My name is Erin and I inherited my fish when I bought my house 10 years ago. I have a 300gallon acrylic tank. I’ve had a pro come and help for the last 10 years but really all he does is clean it-I have to keep up on the ro system, the skimmer, etc. Instead of paying him, I’d like to take that money and put it back into my aquarium - fish filtration, and really engage more in my inherited hobby.
I’m looking forward to learning more and making new friends.

current stock:
Yellow tang
Napa tang
Coral beauty
Flame angel
Valentino puffer
Black/white (I think it’s a chromis- could be a damsel?)
Rose bubble tip anemone
Chocolate chip star

thinking to add dogfish puffer, regal or emperor angel, lion (been super successful with those before), rectangle trigger, malinaris, maroon clown (2), and a green bubble tip anemone.

And id love thoughts on clown triggers- they’re my absolute favorite fish…

Nice set up you have there, and whereas a small cloud trigger might go well with what you already have, as it gets bigger, you’re really gonna be limited in what else you can add downstream. think through it real carefully.

You have good sized tank for a clown trigger just have to have proper tank mates. So small fish and clean up crew are out of the question.
No, I said, if you have there, and where is a small cloud trigger might go well with what you already have, as it gets bigger, you’re really gonna be limited in what else you can add downstream. think through it real carefully.

Id be okay with limiting in the future. I’m looking to settle this next group in and then watch them flourish.
