New acan placement and health

Hey everyone! I had an acan shipped to me yesterday and I just wanted a few opinions on my placement and how healthy it looks. It's been in the tank about 16 hours now and I'm not sure whether he should've opened up or not yet or what an acan even really looks like open in person as I've never had one. It's on the opposite end of the tank as my power head, and my light is a fluval marine 3.0 with all settings at 45% except white and blue which are at 65% and 80% consecutively. Any opinions would be appreciated!

Not a bad spot. There's not really much detail in the image to tell. Just make sure it gets good direct lighting being placed where it is.

I may move it then as I put it in an ever so slightly shaded spot. We'll see later today

it looks like its under an overhang in a shaded spot (but it could be the camera angle), it will need some direct light.

It was under and overhang so I moved it right next to where it was out of the shadow!

It seems like it might have a damaged part and I'm not sure what to make of it now. Any advice?

Also,don't place any coral directly next to it. Echinata's are aggressive with their sweepers.
