We are considering adding a few of these DIGICoral 1000 printers to our print farm.

Given some of the environmental impacts of coral collection along the worlds delicate reefs, we feel that the future of coral frags is in additive manufacturing .

Which species would everyone be most interested in?

I think there is a problem with the printing algorithm. It is clearly set for zooxanthellae, but appears to be creating an Acropora. :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:
I believe the printer has various modes based on what part of the coral it is currently is printer and the display indicates which process its' currently in the middle of. I do know the proprietary Multi-Compound Bio Filament plays a big role in it.

Haven't read the full manual yet (almost never do), so I can't fully explain the process :upside-down-face:

However, here are the first set of test prints:

Darn - That’s gotta be some huge acclimation box!
ahh... he's not that big... trick with fish photography is to hold the fish out away from your body, towards the camera to make it look larger.

Kind of like trimming the shrubbery around your deck to make it look bigger.
