I have a 38 gallon cube tank that is 24”x20” and was wondering what power head would works better, Nero or orbit. Would the orbit be to strong and would the Nero have a more wide flow. Please help!

the gyre would likely work out better, especially in a cube, if you're only using 1 form of water agitation aside from the return line. gyre speed % could be turned down if its too much flow

I had the orbit 4 in my 32 gal bio cube, that sucker would shoooot water out of the tank at 100%, (picked the wrong size but my idea was to buy something with the idea of needing more in the future), I had it on at most 30%, my goal was to mount it in the corner vertically, but it ended up shooting my live sand everywhere... oddly enough though it wasn't as bulky as the cheap wave makers from amazon, and fish seemed more happy with it. But I have no exp with nero, it does look more slim and less bulky than the orbit 2. I guess it depends on what kind of flow you want? I know the orbit does reverse flow, constant, random, pulse, and feed modes. Not sure what nero offers. But it does look aesthetically pleasing.
