Neptune needs to make a new module with only 24v ports

As the title says I think neptune should make a new module with 24v ports. I can think of a lot of uses for 24v ports, lighting, pumps, solenoids, etc. Lots of low voltage options to think of but so few ports available. I have an idea for controll of an ro system, and it will require 5 24v ports.
The eb832 has 2 ports
The onelink has 2 ports
The fmm has 1 ports
If someone is looking for just 24v ports, the cost per 24v port becomes high if you dont need the other ports. I think Neptune should make a module with just 24v ports, maybe 5. With something like a 50 to 100 watt power supply.
So how about it? Separate the onelink ports from the 24v and give us two modules, onelink with 5 ports, and a 24v module with 5.
The technology is already there as we have these ports it's just not very convenient.
Anyone else think this is a good idea.

It would be wonderful to have an expansion module with several 24v ports. I use them for indicator lights, motorized valves, alarm beepers, etc.

Yes absolutely. I have utilized all the 24v ports on all of my eb832 and now I no longer have any left. I always thought it would be cool if they designed a breakout box with 6 inputs along with 6 outputs as well.

+1 for 12v also lots of uses. Not a really a fan of combining them though.

Fair enough, but how about this. With just a little "electronic wizardry" each outlet jack could have a switch to select 24v or 12v.

Now that would be awesome, and easy to do. Pretty easy to do diy also.

I think they were using the 24v ports to trigger a realay to control a 120v outlet.

If they just split one 24v port, that one port would control the splits at the same time. Fine for some situations. But not for separate controlls.

If you don't mind me asking what are you all using the ports for off the energy bar? I was always wondering if maybe they would work for a CPU fan to run in my canopy.

Well I cant speak to the programming behind it but the 24v breakout i linked above says it can control fans, led strips and low voltage type add ons.

+1 that this is a good idea. I had to purchase an expensive 1Link module just to power two solenoids. Often these are used in conjunction with sensors so how about a version of the FMM with multiple 24V ports?
