Need help with a coral identification

I bought a small tank in rough shape for a friend of mine, and unknown to me it came with a piece of coral, they just want the tank, sand, and rock, I’d like to know what it is before I add it to my own tank, or give it to another person if care it too complicated.

Clove polyps. Not very colorful so i would skip them myself as they can be quite invasive in my experience.
