Reefer 300xl up and running for 7 months. Glass gets completely covered again after just a few days of removing all brown algae. Goni's haven't been extending like they used to and the few zoas I have seem to be losing some color since this began. Parameters are attached in picture. Any info/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would get a more reliable po4 test kit. That could be the issue. I doubt your po4 is actually 0 and if it is I would get it up a bit. Also how long are you running your lights for? Try cutting down % on lights or time they are on.

Thanks for the reply. Which brand po4 test kit would you recommend? I'm running 2 Radion xr15 g5 pros at 40% schedule for 9 hours daily.

I use Hanna phosphorus, it measures ppb instead of ppm so it is much more accurate. They are a little pricey but so easy to use. Picking up some brightwell aquatics microbactor7, it really helped with with the ugly and got my water quality looking pristine. Here’s my 29

I doubt it’s zero
The api kit first range is 0- .025 which is a high range .

Beautiful tank! Thanks for the recommendation. Do you dose microbacter7 daily? If, how many ml's daily for an 80 gallon system?

I can’t remember the exact directions but they are very easy. I dose a capful for my 30 gal so I’m assuming yours would be a little less then 3. Directions say to do it for 2 weeks everyday.

Most times it comes in a small bottle and can be dumped in .

Even to over dose nitrifying bacteria will not damage anything .
the excess bacteria will simply starve not effecting anything .
but these bacteria are great at speeding up the ugly stage as well as lowering nutrients
