Some would say this is the easiest of SPS to keep. If your water quality is stable and you have decent lighting and flow I would guess you would be just fine.

Much more qualified peeps here than I to confirm health. Better pictures?

That colony does not look healthy. If you are going to start keeping SPS I would start with a healthier, smaller specimen.
Looks kind of bleached to me . Birds nest can be found for 15 a frag. Get yourself a healthy specimen to start out
Ahh, okayy. Thank u guys. Glad i didn’t take it yet. And @ckuhny3 15$ for a frag is considered expensive here in my place, thats a price for a colony :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Yes we are all going to be a bit jealous about that. Malaysian waters have many of the "deep water smoothie" corals that are all the rage now here in the States. You can get it for cheap.

But I like North Atlantic lobster and can buy it for 1/3rd the price you can so we are even. :)
