I think I've actually narrowed it down to either getting the Waterbox AIO 35.2 or the Red Sea Max E 170. But which should I get? Is one better than the other? Anyone had any experience with both?? What's your opinion??

My livestock wishlist is: 1 regular clownfish, 1 black storm clownfish, 1 yellow watchman goby, 1 candy pistol shrimp, 1 skunk cleaner shrimp, 1 blue tuxedo urchin, and a variety of crabs.

In terms of corals, I'm only adding euphyllia corals and some gsp.

Thoughts?

Hello @JustSawyer and welcome to R2R!

These are both great tanks and I'm sure the community here on R2R has lots of feedback already on both. With the RS, it is an RS product and you do have the options for the external sump, which is a big win in my book, especially when one considers livestock and bio-load on an new or established system. The Waterbox is a great value however, it does lack some expansible options IMHO. I believe the complaints are the HOB accessories and curved front if not mistaken.
