That is very nice. I might have to copy that idea in the future.

Have at it. I am sure plenty of other people have done this in the past. I thought of it when I seen artificial frag stations. Realized how easy and cheap it would be to just make one out of natural rock. Plus looks more natural "well as natural as 21 frag disks inserted into a rock could look". It seriously took a whole 10 minutes to make and was super easy.

Is that one a micro? Are you afraid of the zoa's being killed if they spread to close to that or will things be changed around before your done?

Also I think The Filter Guys are the ones with the fake frag holders.

Looks great!

How many different color varieties of duncans do you have on that rock? I think I see at least three types but I'm not positive :)

3 types. Dr. Fosters ORA green and Two Roe's Marine yellow and purple

No micro--A ball of palythoa polyps. I just threw a bunch on there so I am sure I will change it a hundred times before I am done. Filter guys is who I got the idea from. Theirs do look really cool.

What size drill bit did you use?

someone was selling an aggrecrete frag station like that over on zoasrus when it was working.

only thing with doing that, is you gota have some VERY dense rock, if its not very dense, if you try to drill it you'll crack the rock and it will fall apart.

only other thing i dont like is if you plan to grow frags out, lps/zoas will start out competing each other for space. of course, the really fancy stuff always loses.

but if you use it just like a frag rack, and take them off before they grow off the plug. should work pretty well.
