Nassarius snails - prey on other snails?

So my other snails have been emptied shell and I couldn't figure out why until I saw my Nassarius snails engulfing one of my Trochus and Turbo snails. I'm assuming they got pulled out of their shells and consumed.

Has anyone experienced this with nassarius snails?

The snails where probably dead or dying. I've only seen Nassarius eat dead snails, not live.

Probably a whelk which can be confused with nassarius.
