Hey all,

I decided to start this page as a way to make sure I'm getting the right input from the community as I continue my journey to establish a successful mixed reef and acropora dominant nano tank.

I check my parameters as needed every week or more depending if I need to adjust my dosers.

Currently running BRS 2 part soda ash/calcium chloride and tropic marin C hybrid method (no trace elements yet)

Tank details:
Red Sea Reefer 425XL (112 gal) bare bottom
Lighting : 2x Ecotech Radion G5 (AB+ schedule) ~150 par on bottom
Filtration: filter socks, skimmer, carbon, rowaphos (100g changed biweekly)
Water movement: 2 MP40s on constant and reefcrest mode
Doser: RedSea ReefDose 4
W/C schedule: weekly using RedSea blue bucket

Nano:
Innovative Marine Fusion 14 (12 gal) w/ sandbed
Lighting: Kessil A160WE ~120 par on bottom
Filtration: DIY fleece pad, chemipure elite media bag small, biomedia bag, nano HOB skimmer
Water movement: 1 MP10 on reefcrest mode 30%
Doser: RedSea ReefDose 2
W/C schedule: weekly using RedSea blue bucket

Plan of Action:
I want to add some acro frags in the near 6 weeks from now as the tank stabilizes from the tinkering with the equipment I made when I installed the controller inside and outside the tank. Also the nano tank is about a few months old. Carried water over from previous tank and used live rock to seed tank.

Let me know along the way, some input is super helpful
