Today was a good day to give this tank it's own journal, a couple of things happened in the past 2 days that made it change.
I guess about 6 months old, it has been through a few guises, previous two tanks cracking and is 13 G - 52 litres running a heater and return pump.
It still has part of my original 9 - 10 year old sandbed in it!
People that know my tanks will sort of know it's history.
Yesterday I saw my venustus in my big tank chewing my nps, nps moved to this tank.
I have been growing out a chrysurus in here from thumb nail sized.
It swam out of the scape this morning and started chewing my nps!
It is now back at my lfs.
I had to remove the 3 main rock pieces to get it out so the tank got it's first 25% water change!
I didn't re-scape properly, as of now.
My tangs would love this, just life going on.
Now I have a dilemma!
Hopefully both dendros and the nepthya will recover, I can feed them still but I am now in less than 10% of the water volume, hopefully nps friends will join.
I need flow, I can do that.
My current thought is just to feed live phyto with small additional fine feedings, I can easily add more caulerpa.
I will get nitrate and phos readings over the weekend so I have a datum.
Jewel blenny and added a swalesi basslet today so the jewel has company.
Tuxedo urchin, astrea snail, some dwarf blue leg hermits, conch and dove snails.
This could get ugly very quickly!
The reason I tagged @Katrina71 is because she knows a lot of team Katrina might like this!
Gotta love things a touch grubby!
