explain spawning ? normally only happens at night , we are near full moon, but need a longer video to really tell what is going on ... ;) :)
Sorry for late response, I've been away with family over the weekend.

Though it seems odd, I am quite certain that the GSP was spawning, releasing spherical egg clusters and probably sperm as well. It may have started in the night while I was out of office, but it definitely continued throughout the day. The main rock of GSP and the small broken-off mats were all releasing the orangish-brown spheres at the same time. I wish I had taken a longer video, but I did not get a good chance while busy at work.

This GSP rock was a new addition to my tank within the last couple weeks, taken from a several-year-established tank that the owner is shutting down. I wonder if it is triggered by a stress response or if different organisms respond together. While I was removing the rock from the established tank and trying (and failing) to catch a beautiful 6" yellow eye Kole Tang, several 2" Astrea snails started spawning in the established tank. Maybe some natural process or trigger is linked? I really do not know for sure, but everything I find in my research points to my GSP spawning. I'm quite certain it was not waste, if that even is noticeable with GSP.

On a side note, I'm actually making progress on my living room remodel and closing in on the setup of my main system! I'm making a trip to Chicago suburbs tomorrow for several errands, one of which is to hopefully pick up a 180g aquarium (maybe sump and pumps as well) to use as my final main display tank in my living room.

How cute. We have fallen in love with our bengal foster cat and would love to adopt him, but so far he is not having it with our cat and attacks him. :angry-face: I guess we keep fostering until we find a good match for our cat.

How long have you had him?

One of my cats escaped…he wasn’t gone 24hrs. When he came back his brother was a complete donkey to him! That lasted several days before things returned to normal

What's interesting about dogs and cats, they can get pregnant from multiple males.
Except we know who the dad was. The mom was a calico and the dad was a torti. They live in the same house. The person I got them from wasn’t able to get the female fixed when she got her because of the great lock down during Covid

Had him for 10 weeks now. I know cats can take months to accept a new cat. And sometimes it never happens. But we can can hope! Have done all the usual things like scent swapping; exchange beds and blankets so they smell the other cat first before one on one introductions So far it’s not working.

Yes so true and bengal cats are bit “extra” anyway. Not your typical cat!
