MOAR macro for the fuge sounds completely counter productive to anyone else when Nate can't hold nutrients in the water to save his life??Snails, frilly arrow crab, and 2 more macro species for the fuge.
Deployed for duty.
Corals are looking good today. Must be that they have nutrients woah ....
Refugium looks way healthier than the display... Wonder why.... Mud. Algae sand. Why didn't I do this in the main tank...

What kind of worms? Or are they tube worms of sorts? Just curious, as you should have ended with some annelid worms (detritus worms) in the mud and possibly some tube worms. All are OK to have, but just curious as to what type you might have. These little white worms on glass started showing up big time after the mud. assuming they are good guys in some numbers.
but they are covering heaters and stuff in sump
Since he mentions 'white' and 'everywhere' I'm guessing they're spirorbids. My biggest problem with those is how much calcium they pull out of the water. What kind of worms? Try a google search for detritus worms and compare the images to yours.
Well calcium nitrate going in lolSince he mentions 'white' and 'everywhere' I'm guessing they're spirorbids. My biggest problem with those is how much calcium they pull out of the water.
I have detritus worms that crawl all over my stuff in the sump lol. Why I asked about them. I do have spirobids as well and those guys are annoying, but at least easy to remove.Since he mentions 'white' and 'everywhere' I'm guessing they're spirorbids. definitely annoying, mail display has zero though. all in sump. Wrasse and others must be eating in display.I have detritus worms that crawl all over my stuff in the sump lol. Why I asked about them. I do have spirobids as well and those guys are annoying, but at least easy to remove.
Usually they show up in sump, as lower flow. They are filter feeding and don't have massive "fans" to catch food.definitely annoying, mail display has zero though. all in sump. Wrasse and others must be eating in display.
Reefing talk, who woulda thunk it.Usually they show up in sump, as lower flow. They are filter feeding and don't have massive "fans" to catch food.
