I take issue with the MB7 additive.

If you read the bottle on microbacter, It warns you about introducing anything not native into the bottle. It is also bacteria which needs light.

Pouring MB7 into a translucent container with additives is counter to their instructions, and just thinking about it, seems like you're going to be growing things inside your newly mixed container. That gives me the ugs

I think its just before you add it.

Regular standard mead is still good mead! Mix it with a nice stout - or with a cider if you want something sweeter and need variety

Those are the non-negotiables today. Tank transfer and or mead may get pushed.

It's weird I'm dosing 20ml of both brightwell products a day and still barely posting nutrients.

And cleaning the skimmer in the sump.

Back to basics. Nutrients can be simplified to an easy import versus export. Identify what is taking nutrients out of your water. Address that.

If you still can't hold nutrients, Can you feed more? Until fish are rollie pollies, the answer is usually yes.

If minimal export and increased import still isn't getting you positive, then look at what you are dosing and the actual bioavailability to the nutrient users in your tank.

Problem is LFS who does Quarantine usually is mid cycle. so it wouldnt be immediate and I kinda want to wait for fish i want IE Yellow tang, coris wrasse, more flashers... etc

It's important for me to remember everyone's stock list, but your tank is big enough to load up Why not take a few weeks to accumulate the fish you are wanting, then run through a QT cycle?

Never done QT myself and dont have a tank for it. LFS has done all the QT :s...

Sounds like a Great time to start and learn and not be reliant on them.
