My New 185 Build

Started with a 2"x4" base and 4"x4" beams.

I notched each beam to support the 2"x8" frame.

Before you fill that with water. Talk to mel about swapping out the center braces with smaller ones.

That tank stock has one big 2 ft wide glass center brace that can be removed and replaced with one steel rod that can be made very easy, And after owning this same tank for around 5 years i highly advise doing this mod before you fill it up.

Good build on the stand. That would hold up anything you could drive up on it. In my opinion the best thing about it is the end doors. This allows you to put a BIG sump under the tank. Ths new stands I had build have doors all around.

did you use pressure treated lumber? that is supposed to be more prone to warping than regular but that looks extremely sturdy. I doubt you will need to worry much about that.
