Hello reefers,
Today I’m setting up to place some Xenia on the back wall and I wanted to show my way of doing it.
1.) cut a small piece of plexiglass. Can be transparent or the color of your background. Then drill the hole in the middle . ( I didn’t have drill bit large enough so I made a mess. )
2. get you coral on a frag plug , put a few drops of glue on underside of the frag plug , and simply drop the plug through the hole.
3. once you have your setup ready simply place your coral on a floor of the aquarium and just wait for it to spread on the plexiglass:
4. once it spreads, simply break off the frag plug, put a few drops of glue on the back of the plexiglass and stick it on the back. (Pic shows GSP, once I get Xenia stuck I’ll update the picture)
that’s It!
Beauty of this method is you will still have the coral on a frag plug for future use, and once it grows over the plexiglass on the background it will be basically invisible .
Hopefully this helps someone.
cheers
