Hi, welcome to my journey
This is my Fluval flex 32 gal tank. First I wanted and was looking at the big cube 29 but as I was searching endlessly different nano tanks I was so close of buying the cube. But I went to my local fish stores which I try not to go back they told me that tank sucks and it has so many problems. So me being new to the hobby I went and got the fluval flex.
First I did the Dr times and ammonia to start my tank with no fish. And my ammonia didn't move up at all for some reason and I got the bacteria7 and that help get me start on my cycle. While doing my cycle. I had the itch to purchase a fish and I had bought two clown fish which I still have. One is a snowflake and one is a Wyoming white but I think the snowflake could be a different but who knows. I ran in a little pickle I wanted my clowns to be happy and I thought they need a anemone but my tank was only a month old and I did my research and people say wait until 6-12 months to get one. So I waited and I need crabs, and snails for the tank. I asks the owner of the store, which I won't name the store just bc I don't know if they meant to do this but I ask them if I could have a anemone in my tank and here my water. Which everything was good but high nitrates which I'm still am fighting off right now. The owner said it's okay and the clown will love it. No worry at all....
Fast forward couples weeks later I noticed it's mouth opening up and it starts to get smaller. So I lost the anemone and I was heartbroken.
Anyways I would like to share that part in my journey just because I think you need to tell people to listen to your gut and research and don't let
anyone tell you that it's okay to buy something.
Do the research and stick with it.
More posts come! Thank you
