I’m new back to the hobby. I’ve been away for.. lol.... awhile. And now, I am sort of obsessed with it.

Do you guys get together? Talk, share stories...? Learn from each other?

There are local clubs that do meet but this as far as I know is an on-line forum. Most experience is shared online and that's how knowledge is passed amongst members.

i walked away from this hobby 15 years ago... I failed at it. : ( I am almost at 10 weeks with my new tank (peek at my build thread)

My water is too clean...
I don’t have a good understanding of how far I can go with my bioload... my ecology...
I may have chosen the wrong LFS guy... have been getting a bad feeling lately

I don’t know a lot about sites like this.. am I asking too many question... starting too many threads?

Patience is definitely key, 10 weeks in is just scratching the surface so stay positive. I'll check out your build thread and give any guidance/advice I think would be helpful.
