Guess it’s inevitable. Good LFS, coral looked clean under close inspection. Thought everything was good. A week later I find this thing growing from the post.

Wasn’t sure what to do, so I removed the coral from the DT, got a razor knife and scrapped off the entire area where the Aptasia was attached. Appears I got all of it, but I need some expert advice here. Do these things have roots you have to kill to keep them from growing back?
