My mushroom colony has been very lovely for the past couple weeks. This morning they look a little different, as in they have been curling out like a broken umbrella. Should I be worried? I’m rather new to mushrooms, so it’s intriguing to see their behavior every day.

they look a little bothered by something. If params and such are inline and it doesn't get worse i wouldn't worry too much about it.

They look like they are in waiting to catch food. Like a fly trap. Lol

Ok, so I noticed there was something dead underneath them and I took it out. That was probably what was bothering them. Did a small water change and now they closed up more.

I’m just hoping they’re ok!!

Mine did this, thought they were dying, then they split.
And then there were two. Some move, leave a piece, then grow, leave a piece…and so on.
They will also do that when feeding as pointed out in an earlyier post.
Just enjoy them, I see nothing wrong at all.
