Muscles in a reef tank

I was wondering if there are ill effect feeding muscles in a reef tank. I got a copperband and it’s all he eats along with Aiptasia. But noticed some corals died was wondering if anyone had an issue like this. Just seems something is off with my tank chemistry now.

Have you seen a spike in nitrates or Phosphates? Also check that the CBB isn't nipping those corals

I appreciate I will keep a closer eye on the Cbb. I have been managing the no3 and po4 just wasn’t sure if something could be getting leached in from the muscles.
