Moving to Knoxville

My family and I are moving to Knoxville. My wife is staying with my sister and her husband while we look for a place in west Knoxville. She took a job as a teacher at Ridgedale. My kids will be at Karns middle and Hardin valley high. I will be working at my current job for a couple more months and coming up on weekends.

I currently have a 75g. My oldest son has a 50g. We will be setting up a 10g for my daughter once we find a place to move in to.

We are members of MTRC but will also be looking into joining ETRC once we are settled in here.

My son put in an application at The Coral Reef today. That's where I've bought the few things I've gotten here in Knoxville.

Anyway, I thought I'd drop in and say hey and let everyone know I was moving into your area. Looking forward to meeting you guys.

awesome!!!! I looove Coral reef!!!! Aquatic marine on Clinton Hwy is cool too!!! The Aquarium on papermill is better for supplies but for livestock--Coral reef or Aquatic marine is the way to go!!

We've had several people go back and forth...moving from MTRC to ETRC or vice versa. It's great. The two clubs have such a joint history together and their members really support each other.

This club just had a huge meeting! But even still, we're a lot smaller than MTRC. There's just not as many reefers here in town.

One question though: what application did you fill out? I'm not sure ETRC has applications at Coral Reef. There's a new club here in town that may have had their applications there. If you actually wanted to join ETRC and didn't, check it out. I'm not sure you joined the club you think you did! Hah hah. I hope you joined ETRC though.

Yes, I plan on using that new 75. I almost got my hands on a 125, but it fell through.

Yeah, I realized that when Justin made fun of me about it on Saturday. Sometimes I skim posts very quickly and don't get the full meaning. You've got to pardon me once in a while!

I believe we've found a house. It's in west Knoxville, on Snyder, off of Lovell. Someone just moved out, so the owners are doing some cleaning and repairs. We should be moving in in the next 2-3 weeks. Fingers crossed, I'll be moving my new tank up then with some of my rock and new sand and moving everything to it within that next week.

I won't be able to make the meeting. I'm still working my old job which is 3.5 hours away.

Hopefully your move will go smoothly and we'll all get to meet you at one of our meetings after you are all setteled in. The Coral Reef is great and Amy is such a great gal. Aquatic Marine is another wonderful store and would not hesitate to buy livestock from either one. Both places have great staff who are very helpful The only time I go to the Aquarium is a last resort - they are soooo rude there.
