I’ll be moving to the Charlotte area in November and looking to join a reef club there. I’ve been a member over at ARC for over a decade and have been in the hobby since I was just a kid. I’m looking forward to the move and seeing new faces. I don’t know whether I’ll be buying all new or saving the money and buying used. I’ll be in the market for a 120 gallon long tank, similar to that of the Innovative Marine S2 aquarium AIO. Of course I’d like to purchase my corals from fellow reefers along with going to the LFS’s in the area for things as well. Can any one give me the best place for fish selection (into designer clowns) and which has the best coral selection? Thank you!

Salty's of Lake Norman is an excellent LFS for fish and equipment. If you are on the northern side of Charlotte. But their coral selection isn't great. Queen City Corals is excellent for coral. It is on the SE side of Charlotte.

I live in Charlotte! I have a 90 gallon with sump and a waterbox 50.3 aio that I have for sale. I’m going to college so I need them gone. I uploaded a picture of the 50g but I sold all the corals but this was the tank in its prime. It’s powered by aqua illumination

I'll second Queen City Corals in Mint Hill. Awesome coral selection and prices. They also have verified quarantined fish for sale. Nemos Reef and Under the Sea Aquarium Marketplace are also great stores.
