Well the copepods will eat algae and detritus you can barely see them and they don’t look very interesting so I would probably go with some inverts instead

Are you new to reefing maybe I can put together a list of clean up crew for you
Are there any specific types of algae you are facing?

For some reason the astrea and turbo snails I get from them never seem to do very well in my tank. Maybe they'll go 3-4 months or so and then die off. I've had some reefcleaners' ceriths, bumblebee snails and hermit crabs for a bit now. Bumblebees took care of vermetids pretty well and the peppermint shrimp I also bought eliminated any aiptasia. It could possibly be that your tank is still fairly new and there isn't enough for CUC to feed on.
