What is this worm? I was pulling out some frags for h202 dipping and I found 2 of these, one died in the dip but this one is alive and freaky!!!!

It looks like a bristleworm that has tons of worms on its sides that all move differant ways..

Is it a nudibranch? segmented worm of some sort?

Should I send it where his friend went?

Also spaghetti worms have these strings just on their mouths right? The red thing i found has them all the way down the sides and on his mouth and tail, basically a ball of strings with a worm inside

I can't believe you just asked that, there is not a possitive ID on it so why risk it.

Well,I think what Kelby is saying is,he has nothing in the tank, other than grass, and if it would hurt anything,if it were to be the worm every one thinks it is....

Your right, but I use this tank for nothing so it would be basically a species tank. Like a mantis shrimp tank,no fish go in there, the tank is for the mantis and the mantis only.

Here is the video maybe this camn help, its hard to see but it has strings coming off of the sides of it aswell as the front and back

It's harmless, don't kill it. They come in different colors. The first time I saw a red one in the tank, it looked like a floating blood clot. You can probably see them if you look at the underside of your tank with a flashlight.

Actually benificial to the tank. I had a bunch of them in my tank a couple of months ago but I believe my wrasse ate them all up. They definitely look crazy. One of the strangest things I've seen in my tank.
