Starting a new 42 gallon reef tank. Plan on having 5-6 fish, eventually, and live corals maybe a bubble tip anemone as well. Looking to add Zoanthids and a few other corals and have a pair of Ocellaris clown fish as the stars of the tank, so to speak. I also want to eventually add both a Peppermint and a Fire shrimp for cleaners. These will not be in it to begin of course but it is my long term plan. I eventually want to have a Royal Dottyback and a Damselfish to go with the pair of Clown fish. As the tank matures I will than continue to add some soft corals and LPS too.

I am always learning so I am open to suggestions and am looking forward to this forum.

Welcome and thanks for joining, and best of luck with your new venture. You might want to do a little reading on Dottie backs and damsels, as it’s really easy to be unlucky and get temperamental, territorial, troublemakers. Just remember step-by-step.
