Is is me or has anyone else had/having the just the worst time connecting this light to anything.
wont connect to my iphone(latest version)via the hotspot or my home Wi-Fi network.
Won’t connect to my PC via usb.
I’ve been working on it for a few afternoons now and nothing.
Vinny has been helpful but I just can’t get the darn thing to work.
I’ve built PC’s from scratch so I’m not totally inept…
I’m one more afternoon away from sending it back for a reef factory.
any thoughts or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I have one that’s always difficult to update. But after i get it updated it works flawlessly. First do a reset. Press the reset button and hold for about 10 to 15 seconds. Let it restart and settle. Then Unplug the light from the ballast, if you just unplug the light from the wall the residual voltage wont let the light reset. Try using the emergency update procedure to apply the most recent update. Also make sure your using the current ghl control center. After you update unplug the light from the ballast again. Then connect through usb to program the light. This usually works for me.
