Mini's Nightstand Nano

I just started my new nano 10 gallon waterbox. I'm hoping to turn this into a BTA and clownfish tank. Just waiting on a Cobalt pump in the mail. The pump it came with doesn't fit very well, and makes a loud noise against the glass. When it comes to lighting, I will eventually add a Kessil tuna blue A80.

Finally got my cobalt pump mini-mj 606. Its much more powerful and quiet! Now just have to wait for the tank to cycle before I add clean up crew.

Update after over a month of cycling! I got a Kessil 360we tuna blue. I found a great deal at @ReefersDirect! Everything in the store was on a liquidation sale. Super glad I went by today. I was also able to purchase my black ocellaris clownfish, and rainbow BTA.

Great news! I caught the clownfish swimming in the BTA and even sleeping in it. I wasnt sure if it was going to happen. So far introducing them at the same time seemed to work.

Nice!!! I remember when my clowns first hosted the Nem, also watch out for that light, a lot of light for such a small tank, I had a a160 kessil on a 13 gallon, created some algae and cyano issues

Thanks. So far I have it on the lowest setting possible and just blue right now.

So I had to change out my rock....apparently it was leaching ammonia. My tank never had a chance to cycle. I went ahead and recsued the nem and placed it in a make shift basket in my 20 gallon.

It's been a few weeks and so far the ammonia is finally gone. I am just waiting for the nitrite to be gone before I put the nem back in.

Finally got to put my nems back in!! They are still figuring out where to be, but look relativley happy.

Only time will tell.

How’s that mini mj working out for you? I have a Waterbox 10 and am considering a new return. My plan is to go powerheadless - does that pump provide enough flow ?
Also planning on using a a160. Is that a360 a touch overkill in your opinion ?

The pump is great, but I am considering a powerhead. If you want to go powerheadless I would get something bigger. The only problem is the size. There isn't much room in the chamber. The a360 seems overkill but it was such a great deal. So far it is working well. I have it on the lowest setting. The originally got it so when I upgrade my 20L aquarium I can use it with the 2 other a360 kessils. If it wasnt for thinking about the future tank, I would of went with the a160.

Just feed the tank. So far the nems are doing well. The rose moved to the other side of the rock. Sadly the small clownfish did not make it. The larger one probably bullied it to death. I'm hoping to get another one and try again.

I just added a few toruchus snails and nassarius snails yesturday. I woke up this morning, and saw my aquarium all cloudy! There is already a snorgy in my aquarium Hahha

I finally found a pair of clown fish that like each other. They are black oscellaris extreme misbar! Pretty neat fish. I moved the other female that was in there origanlly to my 20 gallon aquarium.
