My mimic tang, Luxor is becoming increasingly angry. You see, he’s called under that rock his home, but the flow of the water over time keeps filling his front door in. In rage, he splashes and thrashes his body and tail around to clean it all out, but it comes back over the course of the day. He makes an absolute mess of my poor rock nem at the entrance- has even clouded up the tank haha

Someone who understands water flow, please help Luxor and me out- what can I do to stop the sand from coming in, without blocking the entrance? He lives there w his best friend the sleeper goby, who should be effective at cleaning it out but unfortunately I think he might enjoy the added possibility of a nearby snack

Moderate water flow is all that’s needed. Reduce it somewhat and/or change direction of flow
