How many chromis do you have? Have you noticed them picking each other off like some others do?
Hello! I’ve had these 3 for about 2 months I think. All is well between them. But it is truly hit or miss. They may get a little older and hate each other, kinda like brothers and sisters!

I just picked up 5 for my 60g because they were $5 each so I said why not. I hope they don't kill each other. They are the 5 smallest fish in the tank though and I feed a lot so I hope all is good.

Lots of flow and regular small feedings seems to work best.

@najer @Fudsey This is the white, snotty bacterial slime I was talking about as I upped my NoPox dosing. I get very little if any with a regular daily dose. But I’m at 40ml per day now vs 18 for maintenance. It likes to collect and grow on the bubble trap sponge, mesh socks, and inside the skimmer body.

So Ibhave been missing Mrs Smith for a while now. I’m assuming she died. Me Smith however is still out and about. Lately my tailspot blenny and been hanging out with the goby which I find unusual and not common between these species.

Good morning everyone!

feelin a bit sore and still a little loopy from yesterday. I had a precautionary biopsy done on my prostate. I won’t explain the process here or the soreness for everyone’s sake! Results are due Monday. I am praying for, and expecting everything to be just fine. I show no symptoms, but some normal blood work showed a quick rise in something so better safe than sorry. Kinda like testing our tanks......... better to check it out and avoid a disaster!
On another note, NoPox increased dosage is clogging mesh socks in 24 hours! Usually they go 3 days. I will test nitrates today, again, to get a feel for how quickly they are dropping. If they dropped another 10 ppm I will cut back a bit on the dosage and get back to normal daily dosage of 18ml soon!
Heading to Ohio next Tuesday for a week to visit our granddaughter and the family. A bit nervous about leaving the tank at this time but all should be ok.

I hope your all ok Mike and enjoy your break with the family.

I’m sure the tank will be fine, but I do understand the concern leaving it!

Thanks Shaun. We love living in warmth and sunshine, but we do miss our family terribly. Especially getting to see the granddaughter grow up. FaceTime is great, but there is nothing like being ther and getting hugs!

Tested again yesterday. Phosphate at .024! Great! LC did it’s job. Nitrates hangin at 32. Did an extra shot of NoPox, 40ml plus the daily dose of 40 ml. The glass was totally milky white w bacterial slime and im expecting it to stay that way for a few more days. Heading out of town for a week so I will stop the extra dosing and back off the 40 ml per day and drop that down to maybe 25 till I get back. Then it’s water change time!
