79 degrees. I think it went up a degree running the macro reactor 6 on 6 off.
Alk 7.9
Calcium 410. I dosed 250 ml thru the week and it didn’t budge, and alkalinity remained the same.
Mag. 1500. It will never come down!

Woke up this morning to a lot of noise coming from the tank room.

ATO failed on (baby snail on the float) and a fuller sump is what I saw.

Fortunately only 5 1/2 gallons or so was all that was left in my reservoir.

Salinity is 1.025.......whew!

I will get that back up throughout the week, no biggie.

Hopefully it didn’t burn up the pump. I don’t know if it has thermal protection but I’m about to find out.

Now, heading outside to remove hurricane shutters on what is supposed to be a record temp day......heat index over 105!

Mine did the same thing. It started out where I ended up after a full orbit of the rock I put it on.

The Magnifica seems to be getting better.

Wider, column puffier and a bit fuller, more color. This is this morning before lights. It’s been slow, but if it recovers I will be very happy

So I wanted clean chaeto for my reactor but I keep getting let down by suppliers.

I started in this little project before, but cyano struck. So now I’m going to try it again.

I’m converting my macro algae reactor to an algae scrubber......at least that is the thought!

I’m kinda surprised too! I did scrape what little hair algae I had off my return nozzle and rubbed it into the screen the best I could to try and seed it. I’m guessing that helped it along.
