Hurricane Dorian has appeared! Winds and rain are starting to pick up......I’m ready

About time! I’ve spent my day napping, in between moving a few things and watching the weather. Save some storm for the rest of us ;Hilarious

Hunker down Mike....stay safe. Sister and Brother-in-Law decided to stay in Okatie. Niece in Port Royal staying as well, but they (the town), turned off all water. Reports on news up here (NY area) make it look a bit better for the Hilton Head area....50 mile winds, 14-15 inches of rain, storm surge of 3 - 6 feet.

I can't stop chuckling. That's down right funny and true. Save that spaghetti, you might need it when the floods come in!I

For real, stay safe Georgia, and the Carolinas.

Made it through the night just fine! Whew!

We had sustained winds and rain but not to bad at all. A few twigs and branches on the ground but not much to do as far as clean up. The rain has been going non stop as well for about 14 hours or so, but just moderate and steady so no flooding!

Working from home again today. I could get used to this!

Glad you're safe. :)
Well, one of my rainbow BTA’s is in the move. It was put in the tank I believe in April 2018, split, and never moved until now.

Here is where the 2 were for the longest time

And now this morning, the one in the left has moved to the back side of the cave and it’s tentacles are coming thru the cave.

Also some good news I think
The Magnifica seems to be getting better.

Wider, column puffier and a bit fuller, more color. This is this morning before lights. It’s been slow, but if it recovers I will be very happy

I have been following this, not so good about water quality stuff, how much light and flow is it in?
My recent addition, it did shuffle for a couple of weeks but pretty much where I originally placed it, lower light and strong flow!

Simon, it is getting 280-300 par, 12K spectrum as measured with a Seneye.

2 -3 weeks ago I added another power head and positioned it to provide more flow across its surface. This seemed to have the greatest impact.

It eats fresh mussels and clams readily. Small piece every 3 days.

It had never moved since I added it.

Your RBTA looks really nice lurking out of the cave Mike.
I’m kinda liking it too! I think it would be pretty cool if it stayed like that!

I’m gonna do my testing now instead of tomorrow. I have to pick my wife up at the airport at 2:15 and then spend the rest of my weekend removing the hurricane shutters and clean up outside.

If it hasn't moved it is just adjusting imo, hopefully it becomes happy soon. :)
