Sister and brother-in-law in Okatie booked a place in Macon, GA; niece in Port Royal, with the salt marsh right across the road from her house is hunkering down and staying, and nephew is going up to the Clemson area of SC. Schools are closed for the week in the county.
Don't know if you've used the generator before, but the bigger the generator, the more gas it consumes. Fill your car(s) up with gas....it's what saved me when Sandy hit NJ, and the gas stations were closed because they didn't have power for at least three days. So I siphoned gas out of my cars.
