I havnt done much in the way of sharing my tank on here so thought I would start a thread.
My main display is 72"x18"x24" single corner overflow. Two tanks below. One 30g fuge and one 20g sump for skimmers, reactors, probes, etc...
Equipment list: RKL mainly used for pumps and skimmers as well as temp and ph. Vertex in100 skimmer with a bubble blaster 2000 mod. Eshopps cone skimmer 120. Korallin calcium reactor, BRS dual reactor for GFO and Carbon, Zeovit reactor vertex. Three MP40's for flow set to reef crest mode two synced for master and slave one ran independant. Mag 12 (maybe bigger I forget) return pump. Gravity fed ATO. Three radion xr30s
Stock, Fish: Achilles Tang, small hippo tang, Mystery Wrasse, Borbonius Anthias, Fat Head Sunburst Anthias, Royal Gramma Bass, Two Bar Gobies, Two Dragon Face Pipefish, Green Mandarin, Two anthias(not sure what type).
Inverts: Peacock Mantis Shrimp(in the fuge!), Big Brittle star, Big Serpent Star, Porcelain Crab, Two Electric Blue Hermits, Halloween Hermit, Scarlet Reef Hermits, Two Queen Conchs, Two Fighting Conchs, Spiny Star Astrea Snails, Hard Tube Cocoa Worm, Rose BTA, Harlequin Shrimp, and several different snails.
Acros- Red Dragon, Red Robin, Oregon Tort, Cali Tort, Purple Unknown, Valida, Pearl Berry, Blueberry Special, ASD Rainbow Milli, Christmas Milli, German Blue Polyp, Larry Jackson Purple Tip, Hawkins Echinata, Ice Fire Echinata, Rainbow Shortcake, Tinkerbell, and a few named ones I know I am missing and some no names.
Monti's- Red Scrolling Capricornis, Bretts Purple Rim, L.A. Laker, Superman, Mystic Monti, Sunset, Reverse sunset, Seasons greetings, Grinch, Pink polyp orange cap, Idaho Grape, Purple Smoke, Purple Haze, Apple Berry, Maybe one or two others.
Zoas- Space Monsters, Reverse Space Monsters, JF Bloodshots, TCN Bloodshots, ZK bloodlust, Blue Agave, Yellow Mamba, Spidermans, BamBams, Candy Apple Reds, Nuke Greens, Cherry Charms, Captain Americas, Punk Rockers, Sunflowers, Frostbites, Rastas, Purple Hornets, Red Hornets, Blue Hornets, JF Crazy Ladies, Eternal Pink, Electric Oompa Loompas, Dragon Eyes, Black and Whites, Green Sparkle Paly(think I'll name em Unicorn poop!) Filtration- I run filter socks occaisonally when I storm the sump. Vertex and eshopps skimmers are the workhorses of the system. recently switched from biopellets to zeo to see if I got better results and I was suprised to see how much better zeo colors things up. Feather caulerpa in the fuge, GFO and Carbon Reactors. 150GPD RO/DI Replace DI resins every ten days membrane every six months hard to keep 0 tds at my house. Lots of live rock!
Water changes-Uh ya right!? LOL But when I actually do a water change I use Kent sea salt or IO reef crystals.
Feeding- I feed a mixture of frozen and dried foods to the fish as well as cyclopeeze. I feed corals micro vert, skimmate, pellet food, mysis, cyclopeeze, frozen rotifers, etc whatever I feel they need that day.
Thats pretty much it! Sorry bout all the blue in the pics havnt figured out the white balance on my camera yet!
