I will say upfront I am one Rodger doesn't like to work with. He himself I have no problem great service no doubt about that.
For most reefs tunze may be fine but I could never keep them running. Little back ground, when first started I used tunze
exclusively and love them. Running a 3000 gal system I needed dependability. Running 12 powerheads did not want to worry
about checking every head everyday. After 4 yrs of operation a Mhalide shorted and burnt my whole system. Didn't loose all
powerheads but replaced 6 new heads. Problem was tunze completely changed their heads and within months they would
either quit or run backwards. I would clean them and they would run another week and do the same thing. Started sending them
to Rodger and he would service and send back. Still they would quit. After 4 months I had finally had it and bought 6 new heads
and thru the tunzes in the trash. I will say if tunze hadn't changed their powerhead design I would still be running them.
