hey guys, need some advice currently in my chambers in the biocube i have some matrix pellets and a polish cloth keeping it simple for now, heard from some reefers that they add some marine pure block into the media rock or into the flow areas like replacing the sponge with a marine pure block anyone have any experience with this or recommend getting it. heard it also makes a good hotel for pods to live in the chamber eventually want to add a mandarin need a good pod population any advice is good advice

You don't need much mechanical filtration so I would stick to your polish cloth or filter floss for now and get ride of the sponge. Put as much bio block as you can in the remaining space of the rear chamber.
