Folks, I've done several high dollar multiple fish purchases from Marine Collectors and each time 50% of the fish died within 24 to 72 hours. I have spoken with dozens of others on the site who have experienced similar problems with this vendor. After my last purchase where 3 fish died, I went to my local LFS and purchased 4 identical fish that died from Marine Collectors. All of these fish are thriving and vibrant in my tank still unlike Elliot s fish. I highly recommend you stay away from this vendor unless you enjoy wasting money. I purchased 2 firefish from him on separate transactions at $215 each time. Both fish dead in 24 hours. Purchased the same firefish from my LFS for $25 and you can see the result below. Marine Collectors is an overpriced waste of time. They would not even allow me inside to view the quality and sanitary conditions of their QT holding tanks when I picked up my fish. Do your wallet a favor and stay clear of Marine Collectors.
