Wanting to see everyone’s Maricultured aquascapes. Planning on using TBS so more interested in those scapes but happy to see any that have used ocean harvested live rock. Definitely know that the shapes and rock is way different and more difficult to scape with than others like Marco rock is want to see what people have been able to do with it! Can’t wait to see all of the scapes!

I've used nothing but wild/maricultured live rock in my systems, for nearly 20 years. :)

TBS Premium live rock. IM 25 lagoon. If you engage in a discussion with TBS they will send you rocks that fit your needs. Tell them what you want and your goals, and they will accommodate the best they can. You are definetly limited in the fact that the rocks have a top, and a bottom.

beautiful tank! My main concern is I don’t want the look of just piled up rock and want to make sure there are plenty of hiding places! I’m impressed with what you’ve done

Beautiful! This gives me great optimism with what I can accomplish.

Thanks! You are soooo far ahead of the game by going with real ocean live rock. I would try not to overthink it. Aquascape is a human concept.

Ya know I was 100% set on it and then I started letting doubt creep in that maybe I should mix it or something. But you all are getting my head straightened out again

I'll add mine for fun, live rock from the LFS, I'm a fan of stacking also - changed the layout to this design during the recent tank move, this is just afterwards. Was able to get some decent passages and still liking the layout after 6 months or so.

To add, I'll never setup a tank with dry rock. Would love to go TBS on the next tank based on all the rave reviews.

I had real Fiji live rock 10+ years ago, and I'll never be the same...

That is amazing! You got some height. What did you use? Super glue or what?
A lot of reef safe putty from two little fishies. I had a pile of rock on one side of the tank and built it up over the course of two weeks or so. Every night I essentially made another tier, let it cure for at least 12 hrs and then worked on the next tier. I was able to make arches and all sorts of caves. Just took patience.
