Hello! I want to get myself a mangrove but not put it in my tank. What sort of care is required? Can I put it in tap water? Do I need a light if it is by the window? Would a simple vase suffice? Is substrate necessary? Forgive me, I’m new to mangroves :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Keep in mind, evaporation in your 'vase' will raise salinity over that 1.024 ideal range... too salty is bad for roots and plant. Freshwater misting on leaves.
