Magnet/Scrubber for Deskmate 5 Gallon Acrylic Tank

Hello everyone, as the title states, I"m looking for a good scrubber that won't scratch the hell out of my eShopps Deskmate 5 gallon tank. As the tank is hitting it's 3 month anniversary, I"m finally starting to get coraline algae growing at the base of the display. I"ve got a soft sponge that I"ve been using, but it won't get rid of the harder caked on coraline.

Do y'all use a magfloat acrylic set?

JUst want some first hand experience as I don't want it to take over the display panels and then create a real issue down the road.

If you dont want to scratch the tank, then avoid all mag cleaners.

Get yourself a kent marine scraper with the plastic tip.

Fwiw you need to be quick with coraline on acrylic as ive seen some horrible etching result from slow action removal.

I would avoid anything with magnets, but I’m using the flipper nano with the plastic ends instead of the metal ones that you find in stores.
I just ordered the hand scrapper tool since I use my old plastic cards already to scrape coralline off. That way my hands can stay out of the tank and I don’t overflow it trying to clean it.
