Winter can be a little rough but. It's life up here

Yeah. My wife said take me up there for a little trip in the winter so I can see if I can handle it and I was like that’s not going to be the same thing. Waking up to snow on a vacation is a lot different than waking up at 6 am and going outside in the freezing cold and scraping ice off your windshield and snow blowing the driveway to get out all the time for 2-3 months.

Nice! I didn’t know people up there knew how to smoke. I didn’t even know what smoked brisket or smoked pork butt was until I got to Texas.

We just added a Pink Princess Philodendron, a Swiss Cheese, a couple of Monstera, and a Snow Queen Pothos to our collection.

I want a pink princess so bad!! I recently added a white princess phil to the collection and have a snow queen on the way! We are going to have to trade cuttings some time!

We've got a "Free Plant Stands" Facebook group here in the Phoenix area. We go drop off cuttings, starts, seeds, pots etc and pick up other people's. We got the Pink Princess Philodendron at one of those stands. The Snow Queen we picked up on OfferUp for $10!

I cater for a friend's polo matches up here, and they travel down south.... deep south where BBQ and smoking is all they do, and they rave about my smoked meats and burnt ends.... just have to have the time and patience to do so
