Hello all, I’ve been trying to look through the millions of Radion posts for a similar setup to mine to get them programmed to optimum settings, but there are so many posts and different setups I thought it might be better to just lay it out here and get some opinions. It’s hard figuring out how to program each channel to the proper intensity as well as the overall output, so feel free to explain in as much detail as you like! Here are the particulars on my tank:
CAD Lights 165 gal (71” x 23.5” x 21.5”)
2 Radion G4 Pro XR30 and 1 G4 Pro XR15
Neptune Apex with WXM Module
Lights mounted on Aquatic Life 61” T5 hybrid hanging fixture with 4 x 60” (80W) bulbs
Radions are mounted with XR15 in the middle and XR30s on each side
I’ll measure later, but fixture is about 18” above water surface
I’d like to be able to grow SPS, but love shrooms, scolys and zoas too
Thank y’all for any thoughts on how to get this lighting right! If I’m missing any info that will help decide the best parameters, please let me know and I’ll get it posted as quick as I can. If you want PAR readings, understand that it’s through the Apex PAR module and I have no idea how to calibrate or if it’s at all accurate.
