Been playing with the MP10 settings a lot can’t get a decent flow combo in this tank just looking for some tips. Pump is about 2” off the back wall 2/3 way up right now. This tank is 18x18x18. I see these other videos of tour he’s up top just flowing around so nice but can’t get that look.

I did originally have plans to do some acros on the top but going to change it over to just softies on the top part and zoas/acans and a few LPS on the bottom half. I cannot get a good “sway” though I feel like it’s kind of just being blasted or not moving at all hardly currently running lagoon at 48% max. Do I need a second MP10 on the other side and run 2 in sync really low flow or what would be the best ? Or is the MP10 too much ? Planning on moving all the hammers and then torch’s up top as soon as I get lighting and everything dialed in.

I think the single MP10 is more than enough. If you have an air stone you can place that in the tank to give you a visual of the wave patterns.

Something you could also try is placing it on the right hand side (a bit closer to the front), about 2/3s of the way down.
