So, I have been taking tanks for a good while, however i certainly do not see myself as being experienced. My current tank has been up for a little over a year but the rock in the tank is going on three years with me.
Tank is a Reefer 250
Flow is two jebao SLW 30s at about 30% random flow
Lighting is two noopsyche k7s about 12 inches over the tank, pictures of schedule included as well as par levels in tank.
Filtration is a Rubbermaid 22 gallon tote with a diy filter floss filter i occasionally change out. Reef octopus classic 150sss which i am not always running

Test as of today was:

Temp - constant 78
Salinity - 1.025
PH - 8.2
Nitrate - 8-10
Alkalinity - 9.2
Calcium - 405
Magnesium 1265

Attached is also an ICP test from a couple weeks ago.

Feed variety of frozen, new life spectrum, and phytofeast. The only thing i am "dosing" is kalkwasser in the ato. Salt mix is Tropic marin.

Corals that have done very well in our tank
Montipora spongodes, Hydrophora, Anacropora, Montipora digitada, zoas
Corals that dont grow but look happy in our tank
favias, euphillia, mushrooms, lobophyllia
Corals that grow really well, but dont look happy or have good polyp extension
Acropora(not sure what type but it ohas doubled since march)pavona, cyphastria
And corals that just dont look super happy in our tank and never grow
toadstool, kenya tree, gsp, candycane, Duncans(it used to do great, had a salinity crash a while back, went from 5 heads to 30 in a year and has maybe added one head since the spike in june, salinity has been steady since early july) acans, and the only coral we have named in the tank, a bowerbanki that my wife has called beegee because it just keeps "staying alive".

Is there anything that jumps out at you? The tank is doing ok, but I am just really wanting for it to "thrive"

Thank you!

Bump! I'd like to hear what other members have to say about your situation, you did provide a lot of detail, and nothing to my noob eyes is jumping out at me. I'm sure I could learn a thing or two here as well. Good luck to you and your tank!

So an enjoyable part of the hobby for me is a visual diary of my corals over the months and years. There’s nothing more satisfying than to go back 6 months or a year and observe coral frags “then and now”. From your photo, it looks like you’re well on your way to a seasoned veteran’s spot. Nice tank.

Thanks. Just tough wanting all things to do well. That bowerbanki has had 3 heads for the last two years. Now it has… a little less than 3 heads. Just dying to have good looking corals, and not just well growing corals.
